Annie at Plymouth PARC

Plymouth PARC

650 Church St
Plymouth, MI 48170

Forever After Productions proudly presents Annie Jr. at The Playhouse at the PARC in Plymouth, June 22 - June 25th 2017.

Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award-winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie JR. features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure.

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

“These kids are amazingly talented and are wonderful to work with,” states Sarah Chapman of Canton, Director and recent graduate of Wayne State University. The songs everyone knows and loves are included in the Junior version of the show including “It’s a Hard Knock Life”, “Tomorrow”, and “Easy Street”.  Mary Anne Martin, Music Director and former West Middle School music teacher remarks, "I am very proud of these kids; they have worked extremely hard over the past couple of months and are very excited to be performing on stage!”

Annie Jr. has been custom-tailored to fit the needs of young performers ages 6-15 through a condensed version of this classic musical which preserves the optimism and grit of the original. Forever After Productions recent productions of Lion King Jr, Seussical Jr, and James and the Giant Peach Jr, were great successes, and Annie Jr will follow in those footsteps!

General admission tickets are $10 and are currently on sale for all 6 performances June 22nd through 25th, Thursday at 7pm, Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 2pm & 7pm, and Sunday at 1pm & 5pm.  They can be purchased at www.iheartforeverafter.com or by calling Forever After Productions at (734) 547-5156.
