During the open house, you will have the opportunity to attend a "Must See Viewing" session where The Henry Ford’s Education and Learning Department will speak about:

STEM and your Field Trips

Our staff will introduce new ways to incorporate STEM into field trips with our newest exhibit, Mathematica. We will also preview, The Science Behind Pixar, our next exhibit opening in October 2017. During this session, you can also find out about field trip scholarships, our Teacher’s Choice Program for The Giant Screen Theater, and the resources our staff and our Teacher Fellows have created to support your field trips. 45 minutes.

Attending one of these sessions gets you and a guest free tickets to Greenfield Village, the Ford Rouge Factory Tour and tickets to see any one Giant Screen movie showing that day. Pick up a raffle ticket at the session and take it to the Mathematica exhibit in the museum to get your rewards.

Once you drop into the Mathematica matrix, you will sense math all around you. Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation has activated the kinetic and rigorously playful exhibition, created by groundbreaking designers Charles and Ray Eames. Mathematica is just as wonder-inspiring now as it was in the 1960s.  Novices and prodigies will make new connections, from the conceptual to the aesthetic. Attend the STEM and your Field Trips session and pick up your free venue tickets here.
